Tara C. Kenney ’82

Tara C. Kenney recently retired as the Senior Relationship Manager for Deutsche Bank Asset Management division’s business in Latin America, Canada and Boston. She has worked in the financial service industry for over 30 years. Formerly, she was Co-Head of the Global Client Group for Latin America and served as the Lead Portfolio Manager for Deutsche’s Latin America and Emerging Markets Equity business. 

Prior to Deutsche, Kenney worked for Scudder Investments as a Managing Director, and was a Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Latin American Equity business.  She also worked in the Latin America Merchant Bank for Bankers Trust as well as the Chase Manhattan Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank.

Kenney has served on the boards of directors for various non-profits including Accion International, the World Education and Development Fund, the Eco Enterprises Fund of the Nature Conservancy and the Andean Health and Development organization.  She also serves on the board of the Kellogg Institute for International Affairs at the University of Notre Dame.

Kenney received a BA in Government and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame in 1982 and did postgraduate work in Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.  She earned an MBA in Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business in 2001.
